To those that have experienced or are experiencing major medical issues, let me offer this hope. In the near 20 years that I have had my medical exercise certification, I have been blessed to work with some people that would not accept defeat. Through cancers, joint replacements, heart & lung conditions, I have seen the miracle that the mind can produce by adopting a positive "can-do" attitude.
Those that would not throw in the towel, without exception, always improved upon their condition. It wasn't what I did for them, it was what they did for themselves. I was only the guide.
If you are one of those people that have or are genetically inclined to develop certain conditions, take heart. Many times I have seen what seemed inevitable avoided, or the effects lessened, by a well-designed exercise program.
You have heard the old adage "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure". It is absolutely true. Start you preventive maintenance TODAY or if you have a condition, attack it early. Don't wait.
"IF YOU COMMIT, YOU WILL GET FIT"
