Before I met Jesus, I found my self-worth in relationships, social status, partying, and possessions. I thought my purpose would be found in these things and validated through other people, but none of it gave me true stability or deep satisfaction. I went to church, and I had an experience with God that filled the sense of emptiness I felt inside with joy, peace, purpose, and worth. 

 

I knew Jesus was real and came to The Father’s House and their School of Transformation desperate to know more about Him. I was radically transformed through the teachings and acceptance I received from the church. I would have no clue 'how to be a christian' if it wasn't for the leaders at The Father’s House graciously leading me in discovering who Jesus is and, in return, who that made me. 

 

Today, I have no desire for substances, and I live a life that gives hope to women who have struggled with insecurities and dysfunctional relationships. I have discovered that with Jesus I am brave enough to face anything, and I have the confidence that I will never be alone or need anything but Him and the church family He's brought into my life.
